Rules allow you to perform campaign optimization actions in bulk across accounts, traffic sources and campaigns. Once a rule is defined in Brax, run it automatically using the Brax API.
Rules utilize data from Traffic sources / ad networks, Google Analytics, Voluum and custom data via import.
Here is a list of Rules by Network availability:
Block Publishers
The block publisher rule allows you to disable publishers on Outbrain at the campaign level using campaign & publisher criteria. When you block a publisher, it does also block their sections. They'll no longer receive impressions, or show up in section reporting. Keep in mind that because you blocked at the publisher level, individual sections won't
show as blocked.
Block Sections
If you want to block a certain section of a site, but not the entire site itself, here's where you would do that. The block sections rule allows you to disable sections on Outbrain campaigns using campaign & section criteria.
Block Sites
Like blocking publishers, this will limit the websites your ad appears on.
Block Targets
The block targets rule allows you to disable targets on Revcontent campaign boosts using campaign and target criteria.
Block Widgets
This is brax's first fully automated rule. You can block an unlimited amount of Revcontent widgets. To more more on how to set this specific rule, see our guide.
Update Site Bids
The update site bids rule allows you to adjust individual Taboola site cpc bids using campaign and site criteria.
Update Section Bids
The update site bids rule allows you to adjust individual Outbrain section cpc bids using campaign and Section criteria.
Update Campaign Bids
The update campaign bids rule allows you to change the campaign cost per click (cpc) bid using campaign criteria.
Update Target Bids
The update target bids rule allows you to adjust the Revcontent target bids using campaign and target criteria.
Pause ads
The pause ads rule allows you to disable ad creatives across traffic sources using campaign and ad data criteria.
Pause Ad Groups
The pause ad groups rule allows you to disable Yahoo Gemini adgroups using campaign and adgroup criteria.
Pause campaigns
The pause campaign rule allows you to disable campaigns across traffic sources using any campaign data or campaign name criteria.
